Lower cost and effort
Options that reduce spend, reduce internal research time, or both—explained clearly enough to defend in a budget conversation.
DWC-IT has been part of the enterprise technology business since 1977—long enough to know that the value is never the box. It is the person who makes sure the whole thing works, and keeps working, until the day it leaves service.
Our mission is to give businesses real options—options that cut an end user’s cost and effort.
DWC-IT exists to be the concierge for corporate IT: service quality that feels personal, and solutions shaped around the specific requirement rather than a catalog. The work covers sourcing, lifecycle cost, contract visibility and asset retirement, and it is delivered by people you can reach by name.
Our vision addresses a problem every IT organization recognizes: capable teams, over-burdened. Projects stall on missing components, unclear coverage, unexpected renewal dates and procurement that takes longer than the deployment. We aim to remove the barriers that prevent projects from being finished on budget and on time.
Talk to DWC about a requirementThe concierge idea is not a slogan. It sets a standard for how requests are answered, how options are presented and how much of the work stays on your desk.
Options that reduce spend, reduce internal research time, or both—explained clearly enough to defend in a budget conversation.
The overlooked optic, the discontinued module, the unclear maintenance contract. We chase the detail that would otherwise delay the project.
Procurement should serve the deployment schedule. We work backwards from your date instead of forward from a stock list.
DWC-IT started with mainframes and peripherals and followed the industry into the networking, server and storage estate that carries today’s transaction volumes.
The company begins in an industry built around mainframes, peripherals and refrigerator-sized storage—learning enterprise procurement when a single system was the whole data center.
As computing moved outward, so did the equipment bench: servers, storage and the supporting components that determine whether a deployment finishes on schedule.
Cisco, and later Arista and Juniper, become core to the business—new, unused and professionally refurbished, with the compatibility work handled before the order goes out.
Sourcing, free maintenance and license management, AI-assisted mainframe cost analysis, ISP and WISP infrastructure supply, smart hands support and secure asset disposition.
Both have served as Presidents of networking equipment trading associations and as long-standing members of their ethics boards.
In the secondary and refurbished hardware market, the difference between a good and a bad transaction is disclosure. That history informs how DWC-IT describes condition, channel, availability and risk on every quote.
Small by intention. The people who answer the phone are the people who know your estate, your purchasing rules and the project you are trying to land.
If a lead time slips, a part is superseded or a cheaper route exists, you hear it from us early—while there is still time to act on it.
Bring a partial bill of materials or a photograph of a label. We will work out what it is, what it needs and what will actually make the solution complete.
Very few partners can talk about VSAM and DB2 collection data in one conversation and 400G optics in the next. That range matters when your estate is genuinely mixed—because most enterprise estates are.
Most vendors own one moment in the life of a piece of equipment. DWC-IT is useful at every one of them—which is why a single conversation can replace several.
Send the goal, the bill of materials, the retiring assets or the cost problem. You will get practical questions and real options back—from a person, not a portal.
